HackYeah, the biggest stationary hackathon in Europe, took place October 28th & 29th in Krakow.

Participants spent all night hacking away at various tasks – among them was the challenging MiniFinTech contest organized by the Ministry of Finance. The Impact CEE team also took part in the event as a mentor.

The Ministry of Finance has organized the MiniFinTech contest as part of a continuing search for top-notch programmers that can be effective in fighting tax fraud.

The 1st stage of the contest was held, in Krakow, at the largest stationary hackathon in Europe – HackYeah. Impact fintech’17 was an official partner of the contest.

The Fintech Hub Poland Debate

The Fintech Hub Poland Debate co-organized by Impact CEE and hosted by Puls Biznesu took place on 10th October 2017r.

Among the subjects discussed there, by some of the most established opinion leaders of the Polish financial industry, were: the future of fintech in the CEE region, common goals for the financial industry, a cashless Poland, the global challenges facing the financial industry in Poland and the establishment of common, coherent vision for the development of fintech in Poland.
