It's not just the money: the NCBR offer for seed and preseed projects financing.

Smart combination of public funds and resources with business experience of private investors and seed funds cooperation with government-based R&D agency – this is the essence of unique programme BRIdge Alfa, run by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), the implementing agency of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. Its aim is to support the most innovative R&D projects in PoP and/or PoC phase – the NCBR has allocated ca. 1,5 bn PLN for this purpose.

The investment vehicles – Alfas – are designed to enable market entry for innovative projects: carry them through the proof-of-principle and proof-of-concept phases by providing them with funding, business and legal assistance. Currently, there are 20 Alfas on the market and at least 20 more will be launched in 2018.
